Our hunting is established in the sub-arctic region on the
60th parallel in Northern Saskatchewan and 2,500 square miles
of uninhabited wilderness is your exclusive territory to hunt
from. This kingdom for bears has ideal back country conditions
with plenty of food and few predators - in fact the only predator
is man. We are the only outfitter in the area and our location
puts you right where the action is. You will be able to experience
the privilege of hunting in one of the last remaining frontiers.
The
hunt is staged out of Saskatoon where you will fly to Stony
Rapids by regional commercial airline. A float plane awaits
to take you on your final journey to the lodge.
Our
hunting season is designated for three weeks in June and offers
a good kill ratio. We have selected to limit our number of
hunters to 12 a season and no more than 6 per week in order
to assure premium and selective hunting for all participants.
We can accommodate hunters for archery, primitive weapons
or rifles.

We
use a well developed "baiting system" consisting
of using a beaver carcass hung where the breezes will carry
the scent out to the bears to bring them in. We then bait
the sites with natural baits to keep the bears coming back.
Being concerned about bear patterns, bait areas are monitored,
added to and relocated as necessary, in order to provide the
best results for our hunters. Our team of competent guides
will ensure you have a safe and stimulating trip.
You
can expect to relax and enjoy 6 full hunting and 7 full fishing
days. Your enjoyment is our priority. We expect your hunting
and fishing to be successful.
There's
hunting...then there's something more.
Along
with the hunting you will also have the opportunity to fish
on 22,000 sq. acres of water for some of the monster Northern
Pike and Lake Trout that the Ena Lake water system is noted
for.
This
is Wilderness at its wildest, but you will hunt from our main
lodge which is a very comfortable log facility with all the
amenities, including tackle shop, games area, fireplace and
open air bar. Sleeping accommodations are both in the main
lodge as well as individual cabins, all with showers and a
lake view. We provide all hearty cooked meals and complimentary
wine with dinner and an open bar stocked with spirits and
beer is included as well.
