At Ena Lake we pride ourselves on our moose hunts. We have exclusive access
to over 2,500 sq. miles of crown land and limited pressure on the resource.
Surrounded by willows, pine, poplar and rock, this area possesses all the natural habitat required to produce quality trophy moose. Very limited hunting pressure, a good source of food, plenty of cover and exclusive access
are all keys to our quality moose hunt. Whether you are an archery or a rifle hunter, no one will ever forget the thrill of calling one of these northern monsters out of the woods to the shore line for that perfect shot.

Each year our shooting opportunities range well over 100% with our kill ratio consistently high. Our moose are huge beasts, similar to the Alaska/Yukon strain, with antler spread ranging from 40 to 55 inches. Most of our bulls carry extremely heavy head gear with very wide palms and numerous long tines.

This is a seven day fall hunt during the peak of the rut and consists of hunting from boats on our main lakes and rivers. Our boats come with guides, one for every hunting guest. These fellows are experienced professionals who round out the adventure by making it all seem easy. Once you have tagged out, we have fantastic fall fishing for trophy pike and trout available. A great bonus to you to be able to land some of these whoppers that northern Saskatchewan
waters are known for.

Our moose hunts conclude with a very exciting and successful kill of a trophy bull. The moose are very territorial and will come in close when challenged. Your guide will use a combination of bull grunts and cow moose mating calls and don't be surprised when you see 1,200 lbs. of horns and hoof bearing down on your location, tearing apart vegetation and grunting heavily because he believes you are either another moose to mate with or another moose to fight with. Hunting moose at Ena can be one of the most adrenaline producing hunts you will ever experience.

You will stay in one of our well appointed cabins or main lodge guest suites and appreciate the superb food and spirits at the lodge dining room while sharing stories with hunting buddies and enjoying 4 star meals.
