We recommend you always come prepared for wet chilly weather. We are located in the far north and temperatures can range from a high of 80 degrees (Spring and Summer) to a low of 32 degrees (Fall). Water temperatures are between 33 to 68 degrees depending on the season. Prevailing winds come from the northwest. We experience little rain during the season, however when it does rain the temperature could drop by 20 degrees. A good rain suit is a must in heavy rain and is always nice to wear for wind protection when traveling to and from fishing spots. Because Ena is a very long and narrow lake with high hills on either side the wind factor is very low. We have not missed a day of fishing due to high waves or strong winds.
